Tele Atlas Signs Agreement with Automotive Infotainment Leader Lectronix

October 16, 2006, Detroit, MI, SAE Convergence – Tele Atlas (FSE: TA6, EUNV: TA), a leading global provider of digital maps and dynamic content for navigation and location based solutions, announced today an agreement with Lectronix Inc., a supplier of automotive integrated electronics technology, software and product design services, to provide high-quality digital map data and related content to new vehicle market segments such as trucking and recreational vehicles (RV).
Lectronix automotive information and entertainment systems provide integrated navigation software within vehicle in-dash head units. Through the agreement, all Lectronix products for the commercial vehicle and automotive markets will feature Tele Atlas’ highly accurate digital map data. Drivers using Lectronix products will now be able to easily find addresses and points of interest, and the best possible routes to them.
