The single-chip SiRF GSC3f GPS receiver enables the HP iPAQ rx5900 Travel Companion to incorporate real-time, high-performance location awareness and robust navigation capabilities into a feature-rich handheld device.

The HP iPAQ rx5900 Travel Companion will offer SiRFstarIII-powered GPS location capabilities and additional pre-installed navigation software and maps to help keep travelers on track. Additionally, the HP iPAQ rx5900 Travel Companion features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth(1), digital entertainment capabilities, and full Windows Mobile functionality, all in a compact package that weighs less than six ounces.
