Navicore Brings GPS Navigation to Nokia 770 Internet Tablet

Navicore and Nokia have announced the port of Navicore Personal as a full Navigation Kit for the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet.Navicore Personal is a GPS-navigator software that is specifically developed for connected mobile devices. It is a full navigation system for use when driving, cycling or walking, and also a pocket guide that includes points-of-interest such as restaurants, hotels, petrol stations and local tourist venues. Navicore has also announced its next generation of GPS navigation software, Navicore Personal 2007, to be shipped in November 2006.The Nokia 770 Internet Tablet is a portable device designed for web browsing and other Internet use such as media, email, VoIP and instant messaging. Navicore Personal 2007 navigation software will be available for the Nokia 770 as a standalone Navigation Kit that includes the software along with a GPS receiver module and car holder, and it is also available as a complete all-in-one Navigation Bundle that includes the Nokia 770 in addition to the Navicore software and GPS receiver.
