Cell phone doubles as personal trainer

location based services

Trimble invites you to track your workout with your cell phone.
The company has released AllSport GPS, an application that enables users to measure distance, time, speed and calories on their cell phones. In addition, the program lets cyclists, runners and walkers track their location on street maps, topographical maps and aerial photos.
The data can then be uploaded to a Web site for analysis or just to track your progress.
One version of AllSport GPS is offered on 10 Sprint cell phones for $6.99 a month. Other pricing plans are available on 17 Nextel phones
