Romanian developer exoSyphen launches GSM-Tracker, offering a user community based approach to location information for S60 and Series 80 devices.

GSM-Tracker offers free mobile location based service.


Currently targeted for Symbian OS S60 and Series 80 phones, GSM-Tracker offers approximate location information based on the current GSM cell tower.

The database of locations is built by the users. For every new location, the user has the ability to add it to our database, offer a description and useful information about the location (points of interest, etc).

Aiming to become a true multi-platform, free alternative for location based services, GSM-Tracker is already being used by users from almost 250 GSM operators worldwide.

The project is being continuously developed and support for new platforms and additional services, are being added on a regular basis.
