Guest Technologies has developed a suite of patented software solutions for use in a wide variety of leisure, entertainment and hospitality environments. Guest Technologies provides a "smarter" guest experience for hotel and resort guests by enabling interaction, with the Guest Technologies System suite of amenity and location based services via an active/passive wristband device. The Guest Technologies System deployed at Fort Rapids provides cashless spending, where resort guests are able to use their Guest Technologies active/passive RFID wristband, branded the "RoundUp Wristband" by Fort Rapids, to purchase food, drink and merchandise without ever having to carry their wallets, credits cards, or cash. The Guest System kiosks also provide real time location information for the guest and the guest's group and provides the location of resort amenities & recommended routes. The system further enables the guest to receive information and notification on resort specials and the ability to communicate with others in their group via patented kiosk messaging. The Guest Technologies System covers all the main areas of the resort, including the hotel, the waterpark, the restaurants, and child areas. Through technology partners Microsoft, Info Genesis, MICROS, and Theodatus, Guest Technologies has also been able to ly with the Info Genesis point-of-sale system and the MICROS OPERA property management system at Fort Rapids to deliver a level of guest-enabled services unparalleled in the hospitality industry.

"The Guest Technologies system is the premier technology of its kind in the world and we are proud to be the first hotel resort to make it available to our guests," said Patrick Quinn, Vice President of Guest Services. "For anyone that has ever been separated from their group, or got confused navigating their way around a popular resort, this location technology is the answer. And with the cashless spending and other guest enabled services, we believe that this state-of-the-art technology will help us make our busy and large environments much smaller and friendlier communities and resort guests will spend more time enjoying the resort experience together." The Guest Technologies real-time location module utilizes a reusable watch-like, waterproof RF (radio frequency) device that communicates a person's location to RF readers. As individuals move through the resort, the device communicates, via active RF signal, the location and unique group information to the nearest antenna. The antenna then communicates via (wireless) network with the central computers to update the location of each member of that un instantly relays the new data to the secure LocationStation(R) kiosks. LocationStation(R) kiosks are located at several locations throughout the resort. Group location information is available only to members of each unique group. The same watch-like device is also used to enable the cashless spending and other services of the System. "Platinum Lodging, through its Fort Rapids location provides Guest Technologies with a great opportunity to showcase our proven solutions in the hotel resort industry. Based on our experience in the ski resort and family destination markets, we are confident our system will enhance the guest experience. We are extremely pleased to have worked with a great group of partners to deliver this solution at Fort Rapids," stated Jim Crabtree, CEO of Guest Technologies. Ultimately, the RoundUp Wristband will be used as the guests' room key, their access to tokens, photos, and other amenities offered by the resort.
