The géoflash Explorer™ system is sold as a Standard Engine, a Viewer Template and a series of add-on modules depending upon the type of functionality required. The Standard Engine, Viewer Template and add-on modules are described below.

Standard Components

géoflash Explorer™ Standard Engine

The géoflash Explorer™ standard engine comes with every purchase. It provides basic functionality, such as navigation (panning, zooming), information retrieval (click on map), and turning layers on/off. Users can also set up multi criteria queries and layer display based on zoom level with this Engine.

géoflash Explorer™ "Viewer Template."

A géoflash Explorer™ “Viewer Template” comes with every system purchase and is a custom-designed Macromedia Flash Interface for GIS that is integral to the géoflash Explorer™ mapping system.

Optional Components

géoflash Explorer™ Ortho Photo Module

This module enables users to incorporate ortho photos into an interface, enabling seamless integration with other layers and dynamic panning and zooming.

géoflash Explorer™ Thematic Mapping Module

With this module, users can incorporate the capability of "on-the-fly" thematic mapping based upon query results. This module also allows web users to be able to change/symbolize thematic layers via the géoflash Explorer™ Viewer Template.

géoflash Explorer™ GeoCoding & Remote Update Module


This module is a very powerful geocoder, enabling single and multiple-address on-the-fly geocoding. "Remote Update" enables a data table (can be dbf, csv, excel) with address coordinates to be remotely uploaded to the database, geocoded and displayed as a point layer.
