Google Maps Satellite Imagery Update

Frank Taylor over at the Google Earth Blog has the scoop on a Google Maps satellite update that he has posted about. Here is a summary of locations that have seen updates:
- Most of California is now in high res. (Example: "Kerman, Ca")

Many updates in Texas, but still some remote areas not covered. A lot of east Texas is now high resolution. (Example: "San Augustine, Tx", Follow along I-10 in West Texas...lots of new areas there.) - Areas in North Carolina: Wilmington, NC - new data noticeable along the beach
- Looks like the entire state of Connecticut is in high res now: Hartford, Waterbury, Southbury
- Big areas in southeast New Hampshire including: Keene, Nashua
- The rest of the Netherlands now in high res - Except some military bases are now "speckled" so you can't see them.
- Southern part of the state of Georgia
- The coastline of Maine all new high resolution areas all along the coast from the southeastern tip to Banghor, Maine, as well as Belfast.
- Entire state of Montana - see Glacier National Park.
- Big areas in Belgium have been added or updated: Antwerp and Brussels
- Takamatsu, Japan - new high-res of this metropolitan area
- Norway now has Bergen, Norway and the area surrounding
- Auckland, New Zealand area has new improved photos
