Google Page Creator: Design a Web Page, Get a Mobile Page for Free

location based services

Google’s official blog has another interesting article on their fairly recent Google Page Creator, web page design offering. The post, which is highlighting the power and simplicity of the tool drops a cool little tidbit down at the end that might just be the cart-tipping reason to use this application over a number of other web page development tools; when you create a page for the PC, the tool automatically creates a mobile-optimized version of the page at the same time.
That’s right - you don’t have to do anything yourself aside from the work necessary to create the standard page. According to the post this is simply an automatic- though powerful (their calling it “an awesome power to complexity ratio”) process that nets you a version of the page you just created that will look good on all sorts of micro devices with puny displays.
If you’re into that sort of thing like I am, you’ll probably find this to be a pretty compelling reason to try Google’s Page Creator the next time you’re developing a web page.
