Trimble Mobile Solutions Uses NAVTEQ Map Data for Fleet Management Product Lines

CHICAGO, July 5 -- NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading global provider of digital map data for location-based solutions and vehicle navigation, announced today that Trimble Mobile Solutions (TMS) is using NAVTEQ as its digital map provider for the TMS TrimFleet(TM) family of products within North America. TMS uses NAVTEQ(R) maps for its TrimWeb(TM) and TrimView(TM) solutions to improve fleet management operations and vehicle tracking efficiency. Trimble's TrimFleet product line provides fleet owners with a range of productivity solutions ranging from simple tracking and messaging to highly-integrated, location-based statusing and reporting. The TrimWeb and TrimView solutions are used by fleets that require a permanently installed in-vehicle device which can grow with the customer as their needs change.
