Naviblog Wireless Japan 06 Presentation goes live

location based services

On July 20, 2006, Naviblog CEO & President Mandali Khalesi gave a presentation at EXPO COMM Wireless Japan 2006, the biggest wireless and mobile industry event in Japan at Tokyo Big Sight, focusing on location-based services and mobile entertainment. His delivery had jaws drop in an international audience, which was studded with mobile industry top players, such as Sony, BenQ Mobile, Mitsubishi and Bouygues Telecom, to name a few.A comment from Philip Sugai, Assistant Professor at International University of Japan in Niigata and founding member of the newly established u-Lab think tank, which sponsored the Mobile Entertainment Forum at EXPO COMM Wireless Japan 2006, sums up the reaction from the crowd: "What an eye-opener! Not only is the stuff you are doing unbelievably cool, but after seeing your presentation, I think I will completely have to revise my lecture style."The long version of the video, which includes demos of Naviblog NetRadioPlayer, our browser-based audio streaming solution, and Navispace, the 3D platform for the next generation of Naviblog, can be viewed here. We have also put up an shorter, edited version here, which focuses on the Naviblog Mobile platform. These videos will also appear shortly on Wireless Watch Japan, the premier online provider for latest mobile-related news in Japan. We would like to extend our gratitude to Philip Sugai, Ludovico Ciferri and Marco Koeder of u-Lab for putting together a great event, Ted Matsumoto, Senior VP of Qualcomm for chairing it, our co-presenters for delivering outstanding presentations, and last but not least to a highly interested, responsive and encouraging audience.
