StoneMaps - Recreational GPS Maps

StoneMaps is the industry leader in creating detailed and accurate ski resorts GPS maps, amusement park GPS maps, and GPS maps for other recreation areas.

StoneMaps products are not expensive, proprietary GPS units. Rather, StoneMaps creates software maps that can be loaded into common, consumer GPS units - the ones that millions of outdoor enthusiasts already own. Using StoneMaps with these standard handheld GPS units, you can easily see where you are and how to reach a specific destination.

StoneMaps GPS maps contain a number of important land features including pathways and runs between attractions, food venues, ticket sales, photo spots, and restrooms. When you use StoneMaps GPS maps, you are able to record your travels for review at the end of the day and view statistics such as the total distance you have traveled. Using specifically equipped consumer GPS radio units, you can even communicate with other members of your party and see their exact location.

Look for the "eye" symbolTM. Every StoneMaps resort GPS map that displays this symbol has been professionally surveyed by visiting the resort in person. It is your assurance that the maps you purchase are both accurate and complete. Some companies sell map data that is generated from incomplete or out-of-date sources and are not verified by surveying the site in person. Map data that is not professionally verified is unreliable and it can direct you to an inconvenient or even dangerous situation. Don't waste your time or money by settling for map data that hasn't been surveyed and verified on-site for accuracy and that does not display this symbol.
