New Zealand Entertainment Site Launches PDA Friendly Version

The team behind the travel website DayOut.co.nz is releasing a PDA friendly version and inviting interested users to take a free test run of this new interface.

Mobile devices such as the Windows Mobile Pocket PC (Jasjar, K-Jam, Harrier and the Apache) can use the new PDA site to find leading New Zealand attractions, places and addresses of interest. A unique feature is DayOut's informative audio guides that are easy to download when users are in range of a 3G network or other wireless access point.

The mobile site presents searches (attractions, restaurants, accommodation) and maps for different cities and towns in New Zealand.

Until the end of February 2006 the PDA website can be accessed using the username mobileguide and password mobileguide.

After this date the DayOut PDA site will be available to subscribers for an annual fee of NZ$9.95, and subscriptions are available through the main DayOut website.
